Stay Hydrated

The Texas sun can be intense, so be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Bringing a reusable water bottle and staying hydrated will help you stay comfortable, safe, and ready to enjoy all the fun.

Dress for the Weather

Dress for a day outdoors by wearing lightweight, breathable clothing, and comfortable shoes. A hat and sunglasses are also recommended to help keep you cool and protected while you enjoy the event.

Fishing Regulations

A 5-fish daily limit applies. Only catfish 13 inches or longer may be kept. Please release any catfish under 13 inches back into the pond.

Bring Your Own Gear

We encourage anglers to bring their own fishing poles, tackle, and bait. A limited number of beginner fishing poles and basic equipment will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
